Beach closures and the governor’s “stay-at-home” order

The beach has always been my most favorite of all places to visit, and I have been very lucky to live within an hours drive from it. Now that all the beaches and parks have closed, I am at a loss on where to go to capture amazing sunrises and sunsets on the water. These outings have always been great at social distancing, yet they are now forbidden due to coronavirus disease. This just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Now with a “Stay-at-home” order, the list of possible places to go have gotten a lot smaller. I guess it is time to get a little creative…….

Low Tide at Matanzas River

This is an image taken September 2019 at Matanzas Inlet. One of my favorite times to shoot is at low tide as it shows all the textures of the sand along the shore after the water recedes.

I am hoping the stay-at-home order won’t last long. I am hoping all will be back to normal by this summer.
