What does chihuahuas have in common with the country of Mexico?
It is believed that the chihuahua originated from the Mexican state of Chihuahua. In the late 1800s, American tourists would travel to Mexico just to bring home a little chihuahua dog. It is thought that the breed of chihuahua is descended from the Techichi, an extinct breed of dog common to the Toltec civilization. It was believed to hold some sort of religious symbolism amongst its people.
Cinco de Mayo is here and Milo is ready to party!
Milo is very proud of his Mexican heritage as he is caught celebrating Mexico’s independence day, Cinco de Mayo!
Milo was very patient with the photographer for this Cinco de Mayo photo-shoot!
