Return to the Beach

I wanted to try to capture water in motion again on this trip. Just like the last shoot, I targeted 1/4 second exposures, but this time I used a 14mm super wide-angle lens. The problem using this lens is the desire to get as close to the subject as possible. The water splashing on the rocks would land on the lens and I was constantly having to clean it. Since I was not getting the shot that I wanted, I had to back away from the subject. I would have liked the image a little more had I got a little closer, but the splashing water would not allow me to pull this off.

Both images were shot at ISO 100, 1/4 second @ f/11, and a 1.2 ND filter.

I may go back and try this again in the next couple of days. I may possibly try this again early in the morning before sunrise.
