On some of my trips to the Everglades I would stop by and take pictures of this fabulous pier! This is, I think one of the prettiest of all the Florida fishing piers. This place has some of the most beautiful sunset with a beautiful backdrop of a lovely pier reaching out into the Gulf of Mexico.

Last night as Hurricane Ian came ashore, the pier had taken a serious blow. Most of the pier was destroyed and left in ruin. I hope that Naples will rebuild this famous Florida icon. It would be sad to see it gone forever.

All images were taken on the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II camera. The first image was taken on Kodak E100VS, the other two were taken on Kodak 64T tungsten film.
