It has been awhile since I had done any shooting of landscapes. This week I spent a little time at the beach!

Last night I went to Marineland for a little photo shoot. I got half way through the shoot when my camera started to malfunction. Many of the shots that i had taken were completely black, and the message – ERR 20 showed on the screen. I was troubleshooting to find out what’s wrong with the camera when I discovered the mirror was sticking either not opening or closing. I have some reading up to do to see if it is something that I can fix. I will probably have to send it out to Canon for repair. The only back up that I have are film cameras, so I guess if I do any more shooting it will be on film.

A few days before this shoot I went to Summer Haven, which is only a couple of miles north of Marineland and put the drone up. I wanted to capture the beach houses that were now in the ocean after last year’s Hurricane Ian.

Also this past week I hiked a trail in the Ocala National Forest looking for some forest pictures to take.

I hope to get my camera fixed soon and get out and photograph more. We have had some severe lightning storms lately, and it would be great to capture one of these storms at the right place.
