For the past few weeks I had been busy with other projects and hadn’t had time to go out to take any pictures.  One evening this week I had decided to head to the beach and back to an old favorite location; Summer Haven.

Abandonment has always caught my eye, and this old falling down yellow boathouse is a very unique and interesting subject.  I am not done with this location by far, but wanted to try to create a dramatic scene by using a a dark ND filter to lengthen the exposure time to 1 minute.  I think 2 to 4 minutes would have been better, so maybe next time I will try that on a dramatic cloudy day.
