Crescent City’s 41st Annual Catfish Festival will be hosted by the Rotary Club at the Eva Lyons Park on Saturday, April 7th. This event has been held every year since 1978 on the first Saturday in April to raise money for college and vocational scholarships for the high school within our community. At this event, there is live music starting on Friday night and all-day Saturday, games for the kids, arts and crafts, a parade and plenty of food from Crescent City’s famous catfish dinners, hamburgers, deserts, frog legs and swamp cabbage.
My brother Mark and myself will be displaying our work at the arts and crafts section of the festival. Mark owns the business called “Cracker Products” where he makes and builds fire pits, grills, and metal signs. All the metal work is uniquely designed and created by Mark himself. And of course, my prints will be on display for this show.
