Have been busy getting ready this past week for the hurricane. I did take the time to go to the beach yesterday to try to get a few shots. The surf was rough as you might would expect. Amazingly there were not many people on the road or at the beach. There was a father with two children wading out in the ocean there. This wouldn’t be something I would allow my child to do for sure, because that ocean is dangerous, even in shallow water.
The ocean maybe a beautiful place, but it is also a very dangerous one.
One of my favorite places to photograph, Summer Haven has already been hit hard before the actual storm has arrived. The man-made ocean barrier between the ocean and the community has already been breached. The area was just reinforced after Hurricane Matthew. I hope the area survives this terrible storm.
