On this early morning I got up a 4am and drove to Flagler Beach. It was a cool morning but there was little to no wind so a light jacket was all I really needed. Right at sunrise, I had set my camera up and taken this shot. This little seagull had wandered into the frame posing for the camera. I usually shoot longer shutter speeds but I didn’t want the bird’s movements to blur. To obtain a faster shutter speed, and maintain the depth of field, I increased the ISO from 100 to 800.

Living here in Florida, I do have a few favorite beaches that I like to go to. The Flagler Pier in Flagler Beach is one of them.
