I found this place while taking a detour around Gainesville on my way to Cedar Key a few weeks back. At that time I just drove through and didn’t stop but made a mental note to come back and explore the area. When I came back, I found several abandoned homes and businesses, two of which looked like old country stores. This area looked like your typical “Old Florida” but abandoned to time. I will be be coming back to capture more of these buildings on film!

This one was along side of the road on Hwy 320 in an unincorporated place called Shiloh. There were three more houses close by all along the road, abandoned and falling down. I wish I had access to these places but they are all on private property. But the fact that you can see these from the road is nice enough.
