Some of you maybe a little envious, or perhaps even a bit resentful…. Today in Florida we have had some incredibly warm weather. Today’s high was 89˚F and partly cloudy. Since I was off from work I decided to grab the cameras and head to the beach!!!
I wanted to try out a new filter that I purchased a couple of months ago. This evening was my first time using it. I bought a Haida 1.6 neutral density filter; I already had the Lee Filters 1.6 ND and knew how it performed. After seeing the results from this filter, I will never go back to using the Lee Filters. The color rendition of the Haida is the most accurate, the Lee Filter NDs has a tendency to turn blue. The downside of the Haida, is that their filter system is not as friendly to use as the Lee system, but as far as image quality, Haida wins hands down.
