On the evening of Friday, May 18th 2018 I decided to go to the beach. I haven’t as much as touched my cameras in a couple of months due to the several other projects that I have been working on. It had been raining most of all day and I saw a little break in the weather. I stopped at Matanzas Inlet and noticed that the tide was extremely low. I was able to walk to nearly the middle of the river before I reached the water’s edge. The shore was pristine as I was searching for something that would help aid in composition. After the sun had set, the low flowing clouds had taken on a colorful glow. I set up my camera to shoot the river bed along with this glowing cloud above me.
