Sometimes the best places to photograph are close to home. This place I haven’t visited in many years. It’s a little state park in a small city that I drive through almost on a daily basis. Ravine Gardens State Park in Palatka, Florida is basically a ravine with lots of azaleas and two beautiful suspension bridges. The best time to visit the park is when the azaleas are in full bloom. I got here a little late to photograph the azaleas, but my plan this morning was to photograph the suspension bridges.
This suspension bridge caught my eye because it has a beautiful large oak tree growing on one end, and a branch covered with thick deep green moss reaching out over the bridge.
