I usually go out and drive to the beach, the lake, or the Ocala National Forest to do a little photography but never would I think about photographing anything here at home. Last night I went for a little walk down the road and noticed that the wild plum trees were in full bloom. It was close to midnight, and there was a little moonlight so I thought that maybe this could be interesting.

These images were taken at night, just before midnight. The first image was the first tree I came to. After picking up garbage that people have left along the way, I set my camera up and had taken this shot. I used the ‘flashlight’ mode on my cell phone to illuminate the foreground and the plum tree. Both trees were on Old Welaka Road, in Welaka, Florida.

The second shot was a pretty wild plum along the fence row of a tree farm. Again taken around midnight under moonlight.
